Silvia is a traditional village located in the Cauca department just off the Panamerican Highway between Popayán and Cali.
POI: Coffee village of Salento
is a beautiful village surrounded by eye-catching scenery and is one of the oldest town in Qunidio, Famous due to its closeness to Valle del Cocora.
60% pavement, up to 40% on gravel, forest tracks, mountain trails and risk of muddy tracks. Hundreds of curves and extremely scenic well maintained paved roads. Riders with some off road experience required.
Weather: Temperatures can vary between 12 to 40°C (53.6 F to 104°F). Temperatures can drop for a short period going over the mountain passes. It is recommended to ride with ventilated riding gear. A pull over rain suite is a good idea to carry against mountain temperatures and possible short rain showers that can occur year round.
